Goompy is run by my husband and me. It is built around original artwork, bold graphics and a name that carries a lot of meaning for me.
Every Goompy piece starts from our own ideas. Each order helps us keep creating new artwork, testing new styles and building the brand one design at a time.
THE NAME
Where Goompy came from.
The name Goompy comes from my childhood pig.
My parents fostered many children over the years, so our home was always busy. It was hectic, but it was also a loving home full of noise, people and life.
In the middle of all that, Goompy was my safe place. I would spend hours with him in his pen or out in the yard. He was more than a pet. He was my best mate and a very special part of my childhood.
When we started this brand, I wanted the name to carry that feeling. Goompy is personal, original and impossible to confuse with anyone else. Now we are turning that story into bold, original artwork, one piece at a time.
